Founder Lucy Bristow was awarded the coveted Lifetime Achievement Awards, beating off stiff competition. Lucy said: “It is a real honour to have won not just one but three awards! We are all delighted and pleased that our ethical, genuine and passionate approach to recruitment has been recognised in this way. I would like to thank my team for their tremendous support and hard work in making us the professional award-winning consultancy that we are today. “Lucy Bristow Appointments prides itself on securing quality placements and long-term client relationships, as well as career advice and support to candidates. So, it’s very rewarding to be acknowledged at this prestigious awards ceremony as a key employer and service-led provider in the South West.”
Winner of the Best Recruitment Consultant Award was Kathryn Shaw, who has been instrumental in expanding the Agency and attracting new clients and candidates. And, the final award was for the Best Recruitment Consultancy. Lucy Bristow Appointments received the award for its outstanding achievements, support for staff, clients, and candidates and its pioneering initiative ‘Parent Power’ which encouraged and supported parents back into the world of work.
In recognition of its investment in delivering excellent customer service and added value, Lucy Bristow Appointments was recently awarded the coveted title of ‘Best Regional Recruitment Firm for the South & South West’ in the Recruiter Awards for Excellence. In February 2005 Lucy Bristow Appointments was awarded the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation – the national quality standard for effective investment in workforce development. Over 550 businesses across the West of England have achieved the IIP standard, but we are one of the very few independent recruitment consultancies in the region to have gained the accreditation. The Future Lucy Bristow commented on the consultancy’s plans for the future: “We have worked hard to build strong relationships with employers across the city and to consistently deliver on our promises to help them effectively recruit and build their own businesses. “Recruitment is all about relationships; from the rapport built with candidates coming through our doors to the interaction with clients to gain their trust and respect. Basically, our consultants are very good at building relationships and it is this skill we intend to nurture in the future. “We have a strong, proven reputation and intend to build on this foundation by offering our services in filling a wider range of roles to existing and new employers in the region.” |
